Forgot Your SSO ID?

Recover your Rajasthan SSO ID (your Digital Identity) by SMS or through the portal. Here is what you need and the exact steps.

The fastest way is an SMS: text RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile number, and your SSO ID is sent back to you. The portal method is below too.

What You Need

Your registered mobile number (the one used at registration)
For the portal method: your user type and identification

Easiest Way: Recover Your SSO ID by SMS

  1. Prepare your registered mobile

    Use the mobile number that is registered with your SSO account. The SMS must be sent from that number.

  2. Send the SMS

    Text RJ SSO (case-sensitive, with a space between RJ and SSO) to 9223166166.

  3. Receive your SSO ID

    Your SSO ID is sent straight back to the same number by SMS.

Type RJ SSO exactly, in capitals, with one space between RJ and SSO. This SMS method works only if you have logged into the SSO portal at least once after 07/09/2018. If you have not, use the portal method below.

Alternative: Recover via the SSO Portal

  1. Open the portal login page

    Go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in and click the Forgot SSOID link below the login fields.

  2. Select your user type

    Choose Citizen, Udyog (business), or Government Employee.

  3. Choose your identification method

    Pick the identification method shown for your user type, then click Next.

  4. Enter your registered mobile number

    Type the mobile number you used during SSO registration.

  5. Verify with the OTP

    Enter the OTP sent to your mobile. Once verified, your SSO ID is sent to you by SMS.

  6. Log in

    Enter the recovered SSO ID in the Digital Identity (SSOID / Username) field, add your password, and log in.

What is the easiest way to recover my SSO ID?
Send an SMS: text RJ SSO to 9223166166 from your registered mobile number. Your SSO ID is sent straight back to you.
Do I need to visit the SSO website to recover my SSO ID?
No. The SMS method works without visiting the website. Recovering through the portal is just an alternative if the SMS method does not work for you.
What if I do not receive the SMS with my SSO ID?
Check that you sent it from your registered mobile number and that you have network signal. If it still does not arrive, use the portal method above or contact the helpdesk.
Can I use the SMS method if I have not logged in since 07/09/2018?
No. The SMS recovery needs at least one login to the SSO portal after 07/09/2018. If your account has been inactive since before then, use the portal method instead.
Is recovering my SSO ID free?
Yes. Recovering your SSO ID is free, by SMS or through the portal. Standard SMS charges from your mobile operator may apply to the text you send.
