Delete or Merge Your SSO ID
How to deactivate a duplicate Rajasthan SSO ID, or merge a Citizen ID into a Government Employee ID. Both are done from inside your own logged-in profile.
You delete or merge an SSO ID from inside your own profile on the official portal, confirmed by a mobile OTP. Deleting is permanent, so read the warning below before you start.
What You Need
Deleting an SSO ID cannot be undone. Once an SSO ID is deactivated, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you are deactivating the duplicate you no longer want, not your primary ID. If you are now a government employee, consider merging instead of deleting.
Delete a Duplicate SSO ID (Citizen)
-
Log in to the portal

-
Open your profile
Click the profile icon at the top, then the pencil (edit) icon to open the profile section.
-
Click Deactivate Account
Scroll to the bottom of the profile page, click Deactivate Account, and click YES on the confirmation pop-up.
-
Verify with a mobile OTP
Tick the consent checkbox, click Send OTP, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile, and click Verify.
-
Account deactivated
The ID is permanently deactivated and you are logged out. Your primary SSO ID stays active and can still be used.
Merge a Citizen SSO ID into a Government Employee ID
-
Log in with your Citizen ID
Sign in with your Citizen SSOID and password (or Meri Pehchaan).
-
Open Update Profile
Click the pencil (edit) icon at the top of your dashboard to open the Update Profile section.
-
Start the deactivate flow
Scroll to the bottom and click Deactivate Account. Instead of a plain deactivation, the system offers an option to merge your ID with a Government Employee ID.
-
Verify with a mobile OTP
Tick the consent checkbox, click Send OTP, enter the OTP from your registered mobile, and click Verify.
-
Choose Merge with Government Employee ID
From the two options (deactivate permanently, or merge), pick Merge. Then enter your government employment details, such as the Sanstha Aadhaar Number (SAN) and employee code if asked.
-
Confirm the merge
Click Merge SSO ID, review the details carefully, and confirm. Your Citizen ID is linked to your Government Employee ID, and you log in with the Government Employee SSO ID from then on.
Do This from Your Profile on the Official Portal
Deleting and merging happen inside your account on the official Rajasthan Single Sign-On portal.
